Wedding Function Policies
Room Rental Fees
There is a room charge for the use of any function space. The rates are as follows:
Half Day $175.00
Full Day $250.00
Extended Full Day (up to 24 hours) $300.00
A deposit is required at the time of booking in order to secure your date and time of your function.
The full payment must be made prior to the event.
Charges will be based on your guarantee or the actual guest count, whichever is greater.
Function Policy for Responsible Alcohol Service
The Heritage House Hotel is responsible for the safe service of alcohol to your guests at your catered event. Your cooperation and understanding of our policies and the law in Massachusetts will help ensure that you and your guests enjoy this special occasion.
The Laws We Must Comply With
Law prohibits sale and delivery of alcohol to a minor. No one can purchase alcohol for a minor including a parent, spouse or legal guardian in a licensed establishment. The legal drinking age in Massachusetts is 21 years old.
Serving alcohol to an intoxicated person is against the law, even if that person is not driving. We are trained to judge levels of intoxication. It is against the law to deliver more than two (2) drinks at one time to one person.
All food and beverage served on premises must be provided by the hotel. Menu planning, room set up and other pertinent details must be arranged at least 14 days prior to the event. All food and beverage items and services are subject to a customary 18% service charge and 5% Massachusetts State Sales Tax.
